Imagine defying gravity with the grace of a bird while wrapped in a silky cocoon of fabric. That's the magic of aerial yoga! With each gentle sway and twist, you'll feel like a playful acrobat floating through the air. It's like traditional yoga's adventurous cousin – offering all the zen of a regular practice but with an added dash of whimsy. As you hang upside down or gracefully glide into a pose, you can't help but giggle at the sheer joy of it all. Aerial yoga isn't just a workout; it's a delightful dance with gravity that leaves you feeling light, limber, and full of laughter.

This is a programme that provides students with in-depth skills and knowledge to practice on these aerial postures on their own, as well as the confidence and strength to get into the postures.

Part 1: Foundation
- Gain a better understanding of the different types of wraps and traps in Aerial Yoga
- Instruction and guidance on achieving optimal alignment to minimise the risk of injury while maximising the benefits of each posture
- Full body conditioning to increase overall strength and tone muscles

Part 2: Ascension
- Begin to take this gravity-defying practice fully on the hammock and off the floor
- Introduction and progression to various flips and tricks
- Combining various poses to form an aerial flow suitable for your level

Part 3: Restoration
- End of the session with a relaxing stretch and release with the help of the hammock

Key Focuses
• Different types of aerial wraps and traps
• Key poses in the different wraps and traps
• Tips and Techniques on how to enter aerial poses with grace and ease
• Progressive drills designed to build necessary arm and core strength
• Intermediate climbs and transitions


  • Stronger arm and core muscles for better stability and control
  • Enhance balance and coordination, and increase body awareness through the support and challenge provided by the hammock
  • Gain confidence to enter aerial poses with grace and ease

Suitable for all level practitioners (but to have done at least 10 aerial yoga lessons)



Sean was an accountant by training, and was always fascinated with the idea of being flexible. He decided to attend his first yoga class in 2019 and was immediately hooked. He went on to pursue a YTT right after covid and has never looked back since. Sean has ventured into the world of wheel and aerial yoga as well. He fell in love with it as it requires a different form of awareness, as well as even more strength and flexibility to control the props. Sean's classes focuses on alignment and proper techniques to bring out the best in everyone.
