About this Retreat

Go on a journey to Rishikesh, India, the revered birthplace of Yoga. Perfectly placed at the foothills of the Himalayas and centred around the sacred Ganges River, ever since the Beatles came in the 60s it has been known as a sanctuary for seekers and those who feel called toward deeper states of truth.

This Yātrā (Sanskrit term for pilgrimage or sacred journey), is an invitation to immerse yourself in the ancient wisdom of yoga from its source. Daily asana, meditation, mantra and Kriyā practices will be led by Frankie Wong, as well as local Indian teachers and swamis.

Delve deeper into yogic practices through discussions and potent ceremonies such as, Āartī, Pūjā, Kirtan and Satsang. Optional activities include exploring Rishikesh's spiritual landmarks, from Vasiṣṭha’s cave to ancient ashrams to temples. 

This is a trip of a lifetime, it's not only a journey to India, it's a journey Inside to the spiritual centre, the centre of the Self - the centre of You.

About Frankie Wong

Frankie Wong is an e-RYT500 certified Yoga Teacher, Sound practitioner, and founder of Crystal Bowl Studio. Her work is rooted in classical yoga philosophy, inspired and shaped by years of study with her teachers in India.

Rishikesh is her second home. Having returned more than ten times, she has spent extended periods living and practicing in ashrams along the Ganges, deepening her understanding of yoga as a lived experience rather than a concept. She offers a rare, insider’s perspective for those visiting Rishikesh, the birthplace of Yoga, for the first time.

Her teaching reflects an integration of the traditions and the modern. Through movement, breathwork and nervous system regulation practices, she guides students towards clarity, balance, and inner steadiness.

Her offerings integrate asana, pranayama, meditation, mantra music, gong, and crystal singing bowls into immersive, grounded, expanded and embodied experiences.
