About the Program

Matrescence is the process of becoming a mother, an all-encompassing journey of profound, complex and dramatic changes in the physical, emotional, social and psychological self of a woman. 

This radical shift needs the help of a village. Starting 10 April 2026 and over 6 weeks, mamas can feel stronger, more supported, and deeply nurtured through a dedicated series of Prenatal Reformer Pilates and Prenatal Yoga classes, guided by teachers, who are mums themselves, that are experienced and truly understand the unique needs of motherhood. 

Program includes:

  • 10 curated group classes led by senior teachers (Reformer Pilates and Yoga Strength & Stretch)

  • Two specialist-led prenatal education sessions

  • Intimate class size, capped at a maximum of 10 participants

  • Ongoing community support via private online group chats and facilitated in-person discussions

  • Take-home practice resources, including short, guided video sessions

  • Full access to the gym facilities at PURE Fitness Asia Square

  • One introductory personal training session at PURE Fitness Asia Square

  • Dedicated teaching team, providing personalised guidance and support throughout the six-week programme

About the Facilitators

Roxanne G. @roxannegan_
Roxanne is a Singapore-based yoga instructor, certified personal trainer, wellness advocate and a mom of two. She first discovered yoga in 2009 during a challenging chapter in university, when movement and mindfulness became her anchor, and ultimately her calling. Over the years, Roxanne has helped countless individuals in Singapore manage stress, build strength, and prioritize their mental wellbeing through accessible, grounded movement practices.  

Recognized as a Local Legend by Honeycombers and featured as a Shape Fit Girl, Roxanne’s approach blends physical practice with emotional resilience. She’s passionate about showing busy city-dwellers that living well doesn’t require perfect postures but consistency, curiosity, and self-care.
Through both of her own prenatal and postnatal experiences, Roxanne deepened her understanding of women’s bodies, recovery and the mental shifts that come with motherhood. This has further shaped her work, allowing her to guide women through pregnancy, postpartum recovery and the realities of returning to movement with compassion, safety and confidence. Now a mom, she is especially passionate about supporting mothers in navigating strength, self-care and identity during this transformative season.

Roxanne S.
Roxanne Samiana, a dedicated mother of three embraces fitness not as an obligation but a personal choice, she ventured into Kuwait's fitness landscape over 15 years, delving into the field in 2012. Driven by her fervor, she committed to comprehensive training, mastering Pilates across various apparatuses and styles. Roxanne focuses on tailoring her approach to every client's unique level, fostering confidence and goal attainment. She emphasizes the intelligent science behind Pilates, weaving anatomy and physiology into each session. Specializing in diverse Pilates methods, Roxanne adores guiding clients toward well-being, promoting happiness, health, and success, particularly in pre- and post-natal training.

Yun @yun.wildorchid 
Yun started practicing Yoga at the age of 17 and has been training as a teacher since 2009. Her curiosity and thirst for knowledge keep her on the mat, fueling her desire to learn and evolve every single day. Recently, Yun's focus has shifted towards pre and postnatal yoga, influenced by her own experience as a new mother, which has strengthened her own postpartum recovery. She is also passionate about mobility, hand balancing, and endurance sports, all of which continue to inspire and invigorate her. Yun's love for travel infuses her classes with an explorative spirit, evident in her creative sequencing, insightful alignment cues, and occasional mantra. She aims to guide her students in creating a seamless transition in and out of the yoga mat, using the tactical skills learned from yoga, from the sutras to mastering a handstand, to make sense of the world around them.

  • No refund or credit will be given for cancellations starting from 5 April 2026.
  • All refunds are subject to a 10% processing fee that will be deducted from your refund. 
  • PURE bears no responsibility for any missed sessions. No refunds or makeup sessions will be provided.
  • PURE reserves the right to modify the event schedule, content, or venue. Participants will be notified of any changes in a timely manner.
