Jayan began his yoga journey at a young age, inspired by his father and guided by dedicated teachers during his school years. What started as a pursuit of mastering physical postures gradually evolved into a lifelong path rooted in deeper awareness and inner discipline.

Teaching since 2000, Jayan has explored a wide range of yogic traditions, alongside studies in yoga therapy and acupuncture, allowing him to understand the body, mind, and energy systems in a holistic way. He holds a master’s degree in yoga and is currently pursuing his Ph.D., with a continued commitment to research and traditional practice.

Known for his grounded and authentic teaching style, Jayan’s sessions emphasize alignment, awareness, and the preservation of classical techniques. In this Trataka workshop, he brings his depth of knowledge to guide students through the powerful practice of focused gaze, helping to cultivate concentration, mental clarity, and inner stillness.
