ABOUT THE TRAINING

Embark on a transformative journey with our Yoga Teacher Training at Pure Yoga Singapore, designed to deepen your practice and equip you with the essential skills to become a confident and effective yoga teacher. We are offering an immersive learning experience that spans five weekends, 4 weeknights in PURE Singapore and one week offsite at the tranquil Kaomai Lanna Resort Chiang Mai, Thailand.

Course Highlights: 

  • Yoga Philosophy: Explore the rich history and philosophy behind yoga. Learn about key texts, concepts, and principles that shape the spiritual and mental foundation of your practice. 
     

  • Bandhas: Dive into the study and practice of Bandhas (energy locks) to enhance the flow of prana (life force) and deepen your physical practice. 
     

  • Cleansing Processes (Kriyas): Understand the importance of purification practices in yoga. Learn various cleansing techniques to help detoxify and balance the body and mind. 
     

  • Anatomy & Physiology: Gain insights into the human body and how it relates to yoga postures. Learn the biomechanics of asanas, alignment principles, and injury prevention. 

  • Asanas: Asanas are the foundation of physical yoga practice. Participants will engage in hands-on training to deepen their understanding of key asanas (yoga poses), their alignment, and the techniques for performing them safely and effectively.  

  • Pranayama: Pranayama focuses on breath regulation to influence the flow of energy within the body. The training will include practical sessions on various breathing techniques, their benefits, and how they complement physical postures.  

  • Teaching Skills: Build the skills necessary to teach yoga confidently. Learn the art of sequencing, offering adjustments, and creating a safe, welcoming environment for students.
