About Miryam
Miryam discovered yoga after she resigned from her corporate job in 2013 and made plans to start a new career as a full time Yoga teacher.
Recognizing its profound impact, she committed to deepening her practice and embarked on a journey to become a certified yoga instructor. Along the way, she studied under renowned teachers and immersed herself in various yoga traditions, including hatha, vinyasa, restorative and yin yoga. These diverse trainings have allowed Miryam to cultivate a unique teaching style that blends ancient wisdom with a contemporary approach.
Known for her warm and compassionate demeanor, Miryam creates a supportive and inclusive environment for students of all levels. She believes that yoga is not about achieving perfect poses, but rather about cultivating self-awareness, mindfulness, and inner strength.
Since 2019, her new focus is teaching workshops, teacher trainings, festivals, and retreats around Southeast Asia, while still teaching group and private classes. She also develops her own system called @yogabaseflow
About Niru
Niru's transformative journey with yoga began in 1998 at age nine, despite his father's mastery in the practice. Initially a casual pursuit, he soon delved into competitive practice. Immersed in an ashram, he recognized yoga as his true calling, inspiring his path as a teacher. For Niru, yoga transcends physical postures—it's a philosophy, illuminating life's purpose and connecting body, mind, and soul. Guided by his father, supported by Ayurvedic Doctor Madhavan and mentored by Mani Chaithanya.
